Call: Shoulder to shoulder against repression

On November 25, another trial against anti-fascists will begin in Dresden. They are accused of numerous attacks on neo-Nazis. Anti-fascism—especially of an autonomous and militant nature—is under acute repressive pressure. We stand by our position: for more militant anti-fascism. Come to the start of the trial and the rally in Dresden at 8am at Hammerweg in front of the court!

Phantom hunt in Saxony

It was a major annoyance for the Saxon investigative authorities: at first, they spent many years chasing a phantom and had to drop one case after another. They were unable to prove the existence of a criminal “Antifa association.” When they finally succeeded in convicting four anti-fascists for forming a criminal association in Dresden, important defendants whom they also wanted to prosecute were unfortunately missing.

In November 2025, the time has unfortunately come: a total of seven defendants are being brought together for another spectacle before the Dresden Higher Regional Court. This trial is already being described in the media as a mammoth proceedings. We will see what remains of all this fuss in the end. It would not be the first trial in which the judicial system has thoroughly embarrassed itself. But this time, too, we will accompany the defendants through this trial and embrace them at the end: repression or not.

Organize anti-fascist self-defense

Nazis murder, pillage, rape, humiliate, and injure. This is not an optional component; it is the DNA of their ideology. But what we refer to today as a shift to the right goes far beyond organized neo-Nazis. From racist hecklers on the tram to the misogynistic incel world to parliamentary engagement against trans rights: they are all united in their misanthropic ideology.

This ideology progresses from words to action. Our goal and our task as anti-fascists is to join forces to counter this violence. We must denounce the masterminds and bring their activities to light. We are not alone in this.

Many thousands of people have taken to the streets in recent years to protest against fascism. We can appeal to them and inspire them to support our cause, much more so today than 20 years ago. With the power of the many, we can defend ourselves against the murderous brutality of neo-Nazis as well as against the numerous everyday hostilities.

Solidarity against the delusion

Our strongest weapon is neither a stick nor demonstration training. It sounds so hollow on paper, yet when we experience it in our struggles and in everyday life, it is so rich and meaningful: our weapon is solidarity.

In this society, the collective counts for so little and the individual for so much. Everyone for themselves, until everyone is finished. The neoliberal delusion of fighting only for oneself, only for one’s own interests, only for one’s own advantage, is at least partly to blame for the rise of fascism. The destruction of the planet, the overexploitation of our collective health, and the surveillance of individuals left to fend for themselves were all started by neoliberalism. Fascism is now taking all of this to extremes.

That is precisely why we want and must come together. We should seek out our political commonalities. Together, we can create something better than this nation, than this mess of corrupt economics and politics. We will not allow this whole madness, of which the new Antifa proceedings at the Higher Regional Court in Dresden are a very small part, to be sold to us as without alternative!

With love and anger for a better future! Alerta Antifascista!
